Symptoms: Your Lenovo notebook unexpectedly enters sleep or hibernation mode, and adjusting the power settings in Windows doesn’t seem to resolve the issue.
The issue may be caused by a misconfiguration in the Lenovo Vantage application or incorrect settings in the BIOS.
Solution:
In Short: If you go into your Lenovo Vantage application >> Device/Gerät > Smart Assist/ Intelligente Unterstützung there should be a setting for auto lock that if you disable should fix your issue.
1. First, you have to open the Lenovo Vantage Commercial application, then click on "Device"/"Gerät", next on "Device Details"/"Details zur Einheit" and lastly on "Smart Assist"/"Intelligente Unterstützung"
2. On the next screen you should get a toggle button "Zero-Touch-Sperre" - it will be activated as can be seen in the first picture below. Please deactivate it, like in the second image below.
3. One last thing - Check if the following setting "Smart Standby" is deactivated as well. Please see the image below to see the correct setting.
