(for work that is no longer possible to do oneself according to employee protection rules)
Target Group: All individuals who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding
Goal: Facilitating the completion of work during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding
CMESS Contribution:
- According to employee protection regulations, pregnant PhDs, PostDoctoral Researchers/ /Staff Scientists/Tenure Track Professors can no longer carry out a large number of tasks during pregnancy. They should receive fast, unbureaucratic help to continue their laboratory work, for example, having their work taken over by study assistants or TAs.
- Creation and equipment of family and breastfeeding rooms, if not currently available.
- When possible, help in setting up and equipping laboratories or laboratory workplaces that enable pregnant and breastfeeding mothers to work independently in the laboratory (for as long as possible).
How to apply:
- Send an email to: cemess@univie.ac.at
- Please specify the support you need (e.g. for support in laboratory work: the desired starting date, contract duration, and working hours per week. Please specify if you already have a potential student assistant/TA in mind who would support you).
Please also note that we cannot guarantee support, as it depends on the available budget (applications are evaluated on a “first come, first serve” basis).
