The CMESS Career Advancement Initiative Committee (CAIC) complements existing women's advancement programs at the University of Vienna, such as doc.muv, postdoc.muv, habilitation or professional training, or the Franziska Seidl funding program (former Marie Jahoda Scholarship). The goal of this initiative is to serve everyone with a marginalized gender identity, such as cis women, trans women, non-binary people, trans men, agender people, and those who express themselves in gender non-conforming ways with their future career aspirations, with particular emphasis on career development and structural improvement to address systemic barriers in academia and to reconcile family and career.
The currently available programs are focused on structural improvements to reconcile family and career:

The aim of the program is to expand the family-friendly atmosphere at CMESS to positively influence the compatibility of career and family. See also:
