-Interested in improving your career planning skills?
The project consortium invites PhD candidates from the Comenius University Bratislava, Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica and the University of Vienna to participate in a 3-day workshop on Personal and Professional Development Planning (PDP). The workshop will take place in Low Tatras, Slovakia, from July 8th - 10th, 2013.
This workshop is part of a project which aims at developing and evaluating tools that support PhD candidates in planning their personal and professional development.
Six participants from each University will be selected after an open call.

1) Motivation letter: please elaborate also on the following questions:
- Why are you doing a PhD and what is so fascinating about your research?
- How do you achieve your goals and which difficulties did you encounter so far?
- Where do you see yourself in 5 – 10 years and how did you get there?
2) Curriculum Vitae
The working language of this workshop is English.
Costs: fee, accommodation (incl. meals) and travel costs are fully covered by the project.

Selected participants are expected to take part in further activities of the project, especially a follow-up workshop in February 2014, in Vienna.
