About the speaker

Raman Ganguly is the head of the IT Support for Research department at the ZID. With a strong software development and media technology background, he has been actively involved in digital data archiving since 2011. He mainly focuses on design and technical models for data preservation. Additionally, he leads the development of Phaidra, along with other open-source projects aimed at data preservation. At the University of Vienna, Raman oversees the creation and operation of systems to preserve data from research and education long-term. Alongside this, he has contributed to various local and international projects, aiming to enhance research data infrastructure.
