"Unmamaged devices" or UDs UDs are electronic devices for which the users are free to manage themselves according to their own wishes (of course in compliance with the university's guidelines). In contrast to "managed devices", there is only very limited it support for these self-managed devices, as the administrator privileges lie with the respective users, they are also responsible for the maintenance of the device: security, software updates, data backup and encryption must be carried out independently.
