Moodle distinguishes between two learning elements:
For an overview of the activities in Moodle, see the u:wiki under Elements. |
To add activities or resources to a Moodle course you need to have lecturer, tutor or employee in charge rights. The basic procedure is always the same:
A window opens in which you can select the desired activity or resource by simply clicking on it.
At the top of the window there is a search function that you can use to find the desired element faster.
If you want more information about an activity or a material, click on the info icon
You can also make your favorite elements personal favorites by clicking the star icon of the corresponding element. If you have defined at least one favorite, a separate favorites tab will appear. |
The settings are usually divided into different sections, not all of which are automatically expanded. Simply click on a section name to expand or collapse the associated settings options, or click Expand All in the upper right corner to open all sections.
Required fields are marked with a call sign icon (Required). If you need more information about a setting option, click the corresponding question mark icon (Help with...).
Give the element a name and make the desired settings.
