A problem occuring in Microsoft Office applications on Apple MacOS.

Most likely the Adobe Add-In is faulty or out of date.

If an update is not possible / not working, you can do this work-around.

MS Office is capable to export or save to .pdf without the Add-In.

MS Word

  1. open Word
  2. go to "Tools"
  3. go to "Templates and Add-Ins"
  4. deselect "linkCreation.dotm"
  5. click "-" to remove the Add-In

MS Excel

  1. Open Excel
  2. go to "Tools"
  3. go to "Add-Ins"
  4. deselect "pdf export"
  5. restart Excel
