Follow the official upgrade instructions from the Shibboleth wiki, to be re-visited for each upgrade of the IDP software.
This includes (among other things):
- Updating to the latest IDPv4 release and get rid of all deprecation warnings first!
- Checking the Release Notes
- Following our installation documentation again and installing the new IDPv5 release over your current one (or a copy thereof on a new, current OS).
