About our project: Engaging citizens to improve policies
Citizens across central Central Europe increasingly want to get more involved in local and regional policy-makinggovernance. The GEtCoheSive project develops and tests inclusive governance practices to improve public authorities’ capacities to engage with citizens from vulnerable backgrounds, especially particularly in view of relation to environmental policies and access to care services. The partnership develops is developing a transnational strategy and local action plans for four cities to make their societies more cohesive. text copied from the website

Why Good Practices?
The partners of GEtcoheSive believe in the power of transformation through mutual learning. Rather than reinventing the wheel, they adopt and improve already existing governance practices. While some ideas are innovative and explorative, taking risks and opening new pathways, they also allow for failures. This is what constitutes a 'good practice'.
