Interested in improving your career planning skills?

The project consortium invites PhD has inivited 18 PhD candidates from the Comenius University Bratislava, Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica and the University of Vienna to participate in a 3-days day workshop on Personal and Professional Development Planning (PDP). The workshop will take took place in Tále in the Low Tatras, Slovakia, from July 8th - 10th, 2013 .

Six participants from each University will be selected after an open call. To apply please send the following documents in English to the contact persons from your University (listed below):
1) Motivation letter: please elaborate on the following questions:

  1. Why are you doing a PhD and what is so fascinating about your research?
  2. How do you achieve your goals and which difficulties did you encounter so far?
  3. Where do you see yourself in 5 – 10 years and how did you get there?

2) Curriculum Vitae

The working language of this workshop is English.

Costs: fee, accommodation (incl. meals) and travel costs are fully covered by the project.

and aimed at discussing and developing Personal and Professional Planning tools which should support PhD candidates in planning their personal and professional development.
