If you frequently experience freezing issues with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, or Excel—particularly when off campus and not connected to a VPN—it is likely due to the way the u:print system is integrated, which can cause these applications to crash.
To resolve this problem, we’ve created a small executable file. This file disables Windows’ automatic management of the default printer and changes the default printer from u:print to Microsoft Print to PDF. Simply download and run the provided .bat file, and the freezing issues should be resolved.
