WOMEN'S SELF-DEFENSE

Beginners, Advanced participants participants

Recognizing Dangerous Situations, Avoiding Attackers, Controlling Opponents

Course: 0551

Our USI Women's Self-Defense course focuses on early recognition of dangerous situations to avoid dangerous situations, efficient evasion during attacks, and how, as a weaker defender, you can control or neutralize your opponent using the correct technique. The techniques are based on natural defensive movements and are easy to learn. At the request of participants, a restructured schedule will be available starting in the summer semester of 2025, with a stronger emphasis on defense from the ground than before. Through frequent repetition, the necessary skills will be internalized to such an extent that we can immediately recall them, even under stress.

Towards the end of the semester, we will also conduct an aggressor training with an attacker wearing protective gear (see belowpicture) so that participants can apply the skills they have learned under more difficult dynamic conditions. For advanced participants who have already trained with us for one or two semesters, the focus is on expanding their foundation and mastering techniques, even under increasing pressure. Weather permitting, we also train on the sports field during the summer semester.
