Server & Share Access Problems - BIG IP Edge Client

The BIG IP Edge VPN Software is producing problems accessing network shares and servers while connected to the universities LAN.

Make sure to CLOSE the app even no VPN connection is established.

If the VPN connection is not being established, while trying to connect, CLOSE the app, then reopen it and reconnect.

Windows Problems after Booting

There could be a host of Windows 10 problems after starting a managed computer because of system updates:

  • Black screen
  • PDF not opening (correctly)
  • Windows 10 is slow
  • Cannot save files
  • Printer problems

Solution

Most of these problems disappear after REBOOTING the computer.

Causes

The updates seem to produce problems with the user profile permissions, software permissions and network permissions.

Outlook & Exchange - Calendar Permissions

If users were grantet share and Exchange permissions, but are yet not in the outlook exchange calendar, there could be Outlook sync problems.
