The system sometimes needs a whole week to accept the new permissions set on the Exchange admin portal

EDUROAM: WiFi connection cannot be established via a Windows computer

Q: Why is this happening?
A: Windows updates did it.
Q: Is there any hope, will the ZID not do something?
A: Some day it will magically work again, no notice given.
Q: What can be done?
A: You have to configure the connection manually.

The official comment is, to wait it out until Microsoft pushes new updates to solve the problem.

Is there no other solution?

All solutions that could be found do not work, at least not at managed PCs.

Android Smartphone cannot connect to EDUROAM WiFi when trying to connect for the first time

Why?

Most likely you are trying to connect to EDUROAM at a physical point at the faculty where two or more hotspots are crossing over.

Android does not like that very much.

A good spot to connect to Eduroam is the main staircase in Währingerstraße 42.

You really just have to try out a few places.

Sometimes the same problem is happening on notebooks too.
